Dr. Baker is a 1986 graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she was a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon( National Honor Society) achieved by being in the top 10% of the class. She did her residency at the Long Island Jewish Hospital, after which she was made Chief of Dental Services at Parker Jewish Geriatric Institute, a division of LIJ. Dr. Baker was also a lecturer for the ADA in the specialty of geriatric dentistry. After various changes in her career, she opened her private practice at 234 Main Street in Center Moriches in July of 1997. Dr. Baker is also a part-time Assistant Clinical Professor of Dentistry at the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. She is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society, Suffolk County Dental Society, Eastern Long Island Dental Implant Study Club, and the Long Island Dental Forum, as well as the Moriches Chamber of Commerce,
 and Long Island Vettes Ltd.
